TMI Tuesday. Confession #204

It's TMI Tuesday again! Here are this weeks questions and my answers to them~

1. Last week was "The Most Wonderful time of the Year", but what are your favorite 2008 memories?

Hmm.... I seriously can't remember anything much before July, and I am sure I will omit something, but here goes:

-My daughter's immediate love of her new school and her acceptance into the Talented/Gifted program
-My last rendezvous with Charles at a hotel in San Francisco
-Fucking Hubby on our new patio with a cop only yards away
-Seeing Tyler for the first time in 12 years

But the BEST memory is of 8 of my friends flying here from California to spend my 40th birthday weekend with me. That was absolutely PRICELESS! Love those fuckers!

2. What is the best thing you learned in 2008?

Stay the fuck away from married, cheating men

3. On a scale of 1-10, how good was your 2008?

I'd give it an 8. It was a good year. If I had finished my book (also called 'Confessions From My Open Marriage' by last week (as I'd planned) and had found a publisher by now, I'd give it a 10, easy

4. What is your wish for 2009? What is your wish for someone else for 2009?

Finish my book, get it published, and see what happens next. I wish for Hubby to do more creating and artistic self-expression (as opposed to for his work), because that is when he is truly the happiest. We are moving this Saturday to a house which is twice the size of our condo space now, and it has a garage, so I anticipate the new year starting off with a bang, literally (from a hammer and a myriad of other tools)

5. Where was the first place you ever passionately kissed?

On the steps of my great-aunt's next-door neighbors house in Emporia, Kansas. My family was visiting my great-aunt and her neighbors had kids the ages of me, I was 15 at the time, and my sisters. The oldest was a country boy named Kent. I remembered he wore a red flannel shirt, a hunting vest and a ball-cap. I thought he was dreamy. All of the kids were playing in their basement game room when the adults called us up for dinner. He and I were the last ones to ascend the stairs, with he behind me. Before I reached the top, he grabbed my hips and turned me around to where our faces were almost touching. He planted such a delicious kiss on my unsuspecting virgin lips that I thought I might faint. Instead I just smiled, turned back around and walked up the stairs. I had a stomachache for the next three days because I could not stop thinking about it. I was desperately dizzy with love

Bonus (as in optional):Do you make New Year's resolutions? What is/are your's for 2009?

Yes, but I generally suck at keeping them. This year it's to quit smoking. It is something I do only socially, but it is seriously time to quit being such a damn butterfly! Or, at least to stop using that as an excuse....

Happy TMI Tuesday!

Let me know how the book deal goes..

I could very well be persuaded to buy a couple of copies!

Have a Happy New Year Sadie!

(Remember, according to legend, whatever you're doing when midnight hits is what you'll be doing for most of the year the following year, so make sure to get your FREAK on, and you'll be fucking all year 'round next year!)
