We lie to other women, we lie to men, but mostly we lie to ourselves… about all sorts of things.
We lie to ourselves about food : Okay, I will have this cheeseburger and fries and diet coke and I won’t eat ANYTHING else for the rest of the day. (But, then dinnertime rolls around and that greasy meal has digested just as quickly as a salad would and goddammit, she’s hungry)
We lie to ourselves about shopping: I’m just going to go in there and pick up a little gift for so-and-so… but, oooohhhh, lookie there, I better try that on, it would look so cute with these new shoes!
(And she walks out with a slew of things that won’t even fit in her closet and nothing, nada, for so-and-so)
We lie to ourselves about wanting the truth: Does this outfit make me look fat? Do you really think I’m pretty? (Face it, she wants to hear NO and OF COURSE, respectively, no matter what the truth is)
But my FAVORITE lie is this one, told by a woman who has just met someone new and who she is attracted to-
HIM – You are hot. After we eat our cheeseburgers and do some shopping, I want to have sex with you
HER– Oh! Do you really think I’m hot? Well, that’s really sweet, but I am NOT going to sleep with you. Seriously, I’m not
RIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTT!
A woman will say this to herself and her prospective partner to justify her inevitable later actions, which, I promise; she does consider acting upon, even as she is saying she won’t. And, she says this so that when she does sleep with the guy that she has just told she definitely would NOT fuck, she can later tell herself, in order to assuage her self-imposed assertion that she’s a slut, “Well, that was a fluke”, or, “I don’t normally do that with guys I just met” or my favorite, “You can come over and we’ll have a beer and we’ll just hang out and not do anything too sexual.”
How do I know?
SADIE – I am NOT going to sleep with you, really, we are NOT going to have sex
HIM - Okay, not a problem, I totally understand
And ten minutes later we were fucking, at MY inisistence.
That was the very first time I ever slept with Hubby, 20 years ago.
So, you see… I know. And, I can tell you this ~ the men know, too.
So, quityourlyin, sisters. Embrace your inner slut, develop your sluttitude and be okay with the fact that you want to be slutty and just fuck.

She tends to be bluntly honest, and it's getting aggravating because when she says "no", it really does mean "no"!
Jormengrund, I believe you misunderstood, and i have since edited the post to clarify. I am talking about a woman who has JUST met the guy that she is saying she won't fuck. She has not had sex with him yet, maybe doesn't know him very well, and so she tells herself that she can't, she won't, and mostly, she SHOULDN'T sleep with him.... This, of course, often means that she will :)

Yes she will. How many times has this happened to me?! It can be a fun subconscious game sometimes but for the most part it drives me crazy. The more honest and upfont woman (and men..gracefully ;) )
